The bean and cheese pupusas are really good. Friendly staff. The inside is nice and clean. Minimum parking spaces.
Amazing Food! The cabbage and sauce made the pupusas even better! Highly recommend! The service was quick and they were quite nice. The restaurant it self was pleasant. It was small but accommodating.
We have been going here for over 30 years is our favorite place to get Pupusas they taste delicious. They're soft and tender and it's way more filled than just MASA. Services is quick and efficient and I love that he gives me like a homey Salvadoran feel.
This place has The Best Pupusas for sure !!! Great quality of ingredients and is full of taste ! You just can't go wrong coming here ...
My family loves pupusa's! I saw this place was #2 on Yelp and close by my job. I got 2 shrimp with rice flour n 6 original Revuelta. I have to say the rice flour pupusa's were SOOO YUMMY,OMGOSH delicious. The dough was a little chewy although the filling was outstanding. My Revuelta was layered with cheesey goodness. The whole family loved them! Now the parking lot at this location is a joke! Best just to park on Willow and walk
Been coming here for a few years now and I'm definitely a fan! We usually order our food to go but we had the pleasure of dining in for our most recent visit. Therefore, we got to experience our pupusas freshly cooked and YUM! The menu offers a Spinach Pupusa and a Squash Pupusa. They are able to make it without cheese and always offer to make it with beans in lieu of the cheese. It arrives steaming hot with curtido and sauce and it is sooooo good!!! https://bit.ly/3UuEkwX Easy on the wallet too. $3+ per pupusa. The dining room is quite large and has lots of Salvadorian art and decor on the walls. This place is often filled up with lots of customers. The parking lot is not the greatest because it's small and crowded. But worth making a stop for pupusas if you're lucky to score a parking spot.
Pupusas are something that I never seem to be having a craving for, but I never regret as well. Pupuseria Salvadorena gets it right with their fresh pupusas. One thing I've learned, pupusas in general aren't great to-go. They steam up and just get watered down by the time we get home and lose that surface crisp. We've been here a few times but we've had to get it to-go because it was just way too packed in their dining room, so this is the first time we've actually had it while sitting and I don't think I'll ever get food here to-go ever again. The fresh pupusas were noticeably much better because they were hot and fresh cooked. The pastelitos were delicious and simply, nothing else fancy needed. Pupusas were $3.30 each and the pastelitos were $6 for 4. I don't know if that's in general pricey, average, or cheap, but I'll say the food was delicious. If there's any knock, it's that the parking lot here in general is just tiny and tough to park. We've gotten lucky but the spots are tight and this plaza shares with 4 other businesses so good luck with parking. But if you manage to park, be sure to dine-in. Don't bother getting it to-go, it's just nowhere near as good.
I love Southern California for the diversity of the food! I pass this place often and decided to stop it. I loved their menu, if you're like me it will take awhile to read and decide what you want! The man at the front took my order promptly which was nice. It is very causal in the restaurant. It feels like home and a very close community. There is a private parking lot that is shared with other businesses but you should be fine. There is plenty of room to sit as well so don't worry about dining in. They also have a small restroom for customers. Don't be shy and stop in! I can't wait to come back to try more items.
Came here on a Saturday around 11am no line but after we sat it started getting busy. If you've never had Salvadoran food I feel this can be that place to try it for the first time. Definitely authentic family business. Prices are good for portions size. The caldo de gallina was bomb and the fired plantain I ordered by itself because for me is more of a dessert taste but was cooked good. The pupusas are tasty with the sides.
